Yoga and Mindfulness Classes

Amigo Family Counseling currently offers a program called Movement and Mindfulness with Madeleine.  Through this program, clients are able to engage in group or individual yoga and/or mindfulness classes for all experience levels.

OVERVIEW

Yoga and Mindfulness classes are offered to improve the mental and physical health of our clients and also to improve:

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

MADELEINE WHITLEY, RYT200 began practicing yoga in the winter of 2015 when she was traveling through Southeast Asia and stumbled upon a yoga retreat. She was drawn to the connection between the breath, mind, body, and soul, and, when returning to her hometown of Columbus, OH, she subsequently engaged in dedicated yoga practices. Madeleine has completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga on High, is a member of Yoga Alliance, and continues her yogic education with further teacher training to better serve specialized populations. She has synchronized her yoga practice with her love for holistic health and wellness. Moreover, Madeleine has a passion for vegan food, healthy meal preparation, and healthy living practices. Under the supervision of Dr. Emilio Amigo, Madeleine strives to teach dynamic and accessible classes that include mindfulness and body awareness to help clients feel empowered, vibrant, and calm.
